Ltd Ed Ambassador and Ambassador Plus

September 2009 - A custom Ltd Ed Ambassador (52"L x 10"W x 7"D)showcases a dramatic Striped Ebony top alongside its slightly bigger and more traditional brother, the Ambassador Plus, with laminated Maple back and sides and laminated arched Spruce top. Let us know how you like the body shape.

August 2009 Ambassador with mil-spec flight case

This recently revised version of the Ambassador comes with a mil-spec SKB flight case featuring durable roller blade style wheels, tow handle and oversize carrying handle for a balanced grip if needed.

Flight case: 54"L x 16"W x 10"D
approx. 24 lbs empty

(Bass weighs approx. 12 lbs)

The SKB flight case is built for a lifetime of service and therefore carries a "LIFETIME WARRANTY" ... it is unconditionally guaranteed FOREVER (they call it their "Million Mile Guaranty"). If the case is broken, SKB will repair or replace it at no cost to the original owner. SKB will also pay up to $1500 to replace or repair any equipment damaged by a commercial airline while secured in an ATA rated SKB case. And, speaking of security ... here's another exclusive SKB feature ... this flight case provides a patented, integrated locking latch system recognized and accepted by the TSA. This allows you to keep your instrument safe, while still providing necessary access for airport security inspections.

July 2009 Quantas pilot Peter Black from Australia will be sending us reports from his frequent flights with his new Ltg Bug in its mil-spec flight case.

August 2009 Rene Camacho hits the road with his BugBass in its new golf club-style flight case

Rene Camacho and his BugBass II recently toured the northeast US extensively with Kevin Eubanks. He reported back to us about his overwhelmingly positive airline experiences with this specially modified flight case. Nobody ever looked twice at his flight case or even mentioned the possibility of any extra charges! We should soon be marketing this flight case option for older BugBasses, as well as offering it as part of the Ambassador package (as an alternative to the heavier duty mil-spec case).
