AZOLA BASSES Handcrafted in California, USA: AZOLA EuroCoustic BUGBASS
Azola EuroCoustic BugBass
AZOLA EuroCoustic BUGBASS
The EuroCoustic series has been discontinued indefinitely due to the US dollar's weakness, and also the rise in oil prices - consequently transportation costs.
Please consider the new US-made Acoustic Series hollow-bodies as an alternative.

Azola's BugBass design has earned a dedicated following and solid reputation through the years. Out of the basic original BugBass came the Floating Top BugBass, BugBass II, Scarab, and Lightning Bug. Now the instrument many regard as the "industry standard" EUB takes another evolutionary leap ... back toward its acoustic bass roots. The EuroCoustic BugBass, developed by Steve Azola, offers practical size, portability, and functionality with the sonic benefits of a fully carved acoustic upright. We have entrusted the building of these basses to a group of skilled European craftsmen steeped in a long history of making violin-family instruments. Strict design and quality guidance ensures careful workmanship executed to Azola's high standards. And each instrument is thoroughly inspected and completely set-up by Steve Azola in California prior to shipping to its new home.
